The gal told me it would be ready in twenty minutes. and you can watch the guys in the kitchen flipping up the dough, they'll let little kids drag over a chair to reach the window to watch too so its really great for families.I ordered a 12 inch pizza for carry out. this is the kind of pizza that everybody's comfortable and familiar with. the toppings available are your standard pizza fare, there's nothing fancy going on here, no brie and salmon with capers, not even the usual spinach and artichoke that kicked off that whole 'gourmet' pizza trend.

for me a pizza is nothing without that perfect crust thats not too crunchy or too soft and glutinous, their crust is perfect. but this is the one place that i make the (monthly) dreaded trip across that parish line for. like most people who live in new orleans i'd rather have a tooth pulled than go to metairie, especially veteran's blvd. I've been going to TOP for over twenty years now and the only thing wrong with the place is the location.
